Serem amat ya judulnya? Seperti judul disertasi atau sekurangnya proposal riset yang diajukan untuk mendapatkan pembiayaan dari lembaga funding global ya? ? Apalagi menggunakan kata teorema segala. Apa ya teorema itu? Kalau kata Wikipedia sih: Teorema adalah sebuah pernyataan, sering dinyatakan dalam bahasa alami, yang dapat dibuktikan atas dasar asumsi yang dinyatakan secara eksplisit ataupun yang sebelumnya disetujui.

Ya kira-kira begitulah. Nah, dalam konteks kita hari ini Medan Bentur dan Ruang Lentur ini adalah sejenis asumsi yang dihasilkan dari pengamatan dari dinamika interaksi sosial yang saat ini tengah terjadi, dan tentu saja sedang kita alami.

Benturan, gesekan, gerakan, kecepatan, percepatan, itu pada gilirannya akan mengonversi energi menjadi kalor atau panas, demikian hukum fisikanya. Artinya ada perubahan massa yang diikuti dengan adanya perubahan bentuk energi, meski pada hakikatnya massa dan energi itu kekal kan ya.

Jadi bentur membentur dan lentur melentur ini hanya perkara sederhana yang kira-kira kalau mau diilmiah-ilmiahkan ya jadi semacam metoda optimasi eskalasi resiliensi sosial lah ?
Kedengaran keren ya bahasanya? Padahal mah…

Saya harus kembali ke cerita dan diskusi dengan seorang sahabat yang bekerja di PT Kereta Api Indonesia, karena dari beliaulah saya terinspirasi menulis perkara ini.

Teman baik sekaligus guru saya ini bernama wingit tenan: Yudho Pandowo. Nah menurut Ki Gede Yudho Pandowo ini, pada dasarnya motif dan sudut pandang seseorang sedikit banyak ditentukan oleh beragam faktor termasuk pengalaman dan proses belajar yang pernah dialaminya.

Tak terlepas pula dari karakter dan kondisi pribadi serta dinamika kehidupan yang yang telah melahirkan berbagai respon secara berulang kali sehingga membentuk pola replikatif-repetitif yang antara lain maujud dalam terbentuknya sirkuit neuronal yang sedikit banyak akan turut menentukan respon yang diberikan pada berbagai situasi yang dihadapi.

Mengacu kepada kondisi tersebut kita dapat belajar untuk menerima dan memberi ruang lentur dalam sebuah interaksi, alih-alih memperbesar medan bentur yang berpotensi memberikan efek destruksi ataupun hilangnya energi.

Pilihannya bisa 2 : menerima benturan dan mengubahnya menjadi Foton dan Elektron terhambur seperti di efek Compton, atau vektoring gaya agar benturan gelombang justru menjadi interferensi yang saling menguatkan dengan arah yang disepakati menuju kebaikan.

Ndilalah dalam dimensi kehidupan kita yang sarat dengan kepentingan dan kebutuhan, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi terus saja melahirkan wacana-wacana baru yang “menggelisahkan”. Sesuatu yang baru itu tentu menghadirkan kekhawatiran, kecemasan, ketakutan, kegemparan, dan bahkan kegaduhan bukan? Takut tidak bisa beradaptasi, ketinggalan, dan sunyi sepi sendiri. Bak dinosaurus yang gagal berevolusi, demikian kata para pakar dan akademisi.

Salah satu yang kini kita cintai sekaligus menjadi sumber obsesi yang menghadirkan benci sekaligus kerinduan adalah sosial media. Dunia tanpa batas, juga tanpa identitas yang membuat kita seolah menemukan habitat alternatif yang dapat membuat kita membangun kehidupan baru tanpa tersandera masa lalu di dunia nyata.

Bagi sebagian kita sosial media dan internet adalah harapan. Dunia Baru nya Columbus dan juga Magellans. Tetapi bagi sebagian lainnya, dunia ini adalah dunia barat yang keras dan kejam. Wild wild west katanya. Banyak yang belum diketahui, menyaru sebagai pesona yang sesungguhnya mengandung ancaman yang tersembunyi.

Ini menarik. Karena platform digital dalam space baru yang dikonstruksi media sosial menjadi sebuah habitat ataupun ekosistem yang memungkinkan setiap partisipan menempatkan dirinya sebagai komunikator independen yang tidak dipengaruhi oleh pranata ataupun norma konvensional yang selama ini kerap menjadi hendaya saat ingin mengekspresikan diri di pola komunikasi klasik di dunia nyata.

Mirip bukan dengan para perintis, pionir, penjelajah dan banyak petualang nasib yang seolah mendapatkan cakrawala impian baru saat mendapati adanya dunia yang belum disarati serta disurati dalam berbagai bentuk aturan yang memberi ikatan, meski juga menghadirkan kepastian.

Ekses di ranah komunikasi bagaimana? Ya tentu saja opini dan berbagai pendapat subjektif mendapat ruang. Sementara opini subjektif kita tahu, dibangun oleh persepsi yang bersifat subjektif juga. Maka persepsi dengan tingkat literasi yang beragam akan mewarnai time line, status, dan chat.

Uniknya arus mayoritas dan trend persepsi yang terekspresi melalui microtext ataupun bentuk pesan lainnya akan menjadi perancah bagi terbangunnya opini massal yang dapat berubah menjadi acuan kebenaran. Referensi yang lahir dari subjektifitas persepsi. Kebenaran yang dibangun atas dasar keyakinan komunal.

Ini semacam konsensus yang digerakkan oleh “jempol hantu” dan kemudian dipercaya sebagai realitas yang objektif.

Istilah Ghost Thumb alias jempol hantu ini sepertinya harus diviralkan ya ?

Tapi intinya kan rekonstruksi data dari sekumpulan informasi asimetrik yang lahir sebagai produk persepsi subjektif akan menghasilkan gambaran inadekuat terkait sebuah fenomena atau fakta yang sebenarnya memiliki data atau informasi yang akurat dan bervaliditas tinggi serta bersifat objektif mandiri, tetapi “dibaca” secara parsial oleh banyak “pembaca” dengan kacamata dan cara “mengeja” nya masing-masing. Cilakanya “penulis” faktanya juga menuliskan atau menggambarkan kondisi faktual pada fenomena tersebut dengan cara bertutur yang juga dipengaruhi subjektifitas “selera” dan sudut pandangnya sendiri. Misal, informasi birokrasi yang dihasilkan birokrat akan menempatkan data yang disajikan sebagai data birokrat yang jamaknya diwarnai aspek legal formal.

Dan sebagian besar narasi formal ini memliki nilai “trust” yang justru tidak terlalu tinggi, karena adanya persepsi publik terkait berbagai informasi di masa lalu (traumatik) yang menempatkan informasi resmi sebagai bagian dari upaya memodulasi persepsi publik tentang sebuah peristiwa dalam rangka melegitimasi suatu kebijakan ataupun tindakan yang menyangkut kepentingan banyak pihak di ruang publik.

Tapi generasi terkini sebenarnya sudah tidak tersandera persepsi tersebut, sayangnya sektor-sektor strategis yang terkait dengan kebijakan dan pelayanan publik belum sepenuhnya berinisiatif untuk mengembangkan pola dan metoda komunikasi publik di ranah digital yang bernas dan cerdas.

Lalu sebagai bagian dari dinamika budaya ya akan muncul berbagai “kembangan” yang menata kembali pola interaksi dan budaya komunikasi di alam baru semula jadi (bahasa Melayu ini). Muncul idiom dan simbol gaya hidup yang unik dan tumbuh secara autonomous, alias berkembang secara berjamaah tanpa komando khusus. Ada jejaring tak kasat mata yang tampaknya bekerja di sana.

Jika dulu ada generasi cas cis cus, kini ada generasi wicas wicis. Dimana wicas wicis itu kan gimmick-gimmick cantik ya…wajar saja sih. Para cendekiawan dapat panggung utk unjuk otak, dengan ngeciwis soal teori dan berbagai hipotesa serta analisisnya. Sah sah saja kan ? Yang cantik dan kebetulan sehat bergizi dan berisi ya pamer potensi. Mau gimana lagi ? Kan dari persepsinya itu potensi yang bisa jadi pengungkit benefit, produktifitas dengan effort energi terbatas. Ciamik toh malah.

Ya dalam level ini jangan bawa etika dan norma dulu, lihat motif pragmatisnya kan.

Nah maka tak heran jika ada suatu hal janggal yang bisa menjadi ruang untuk nampil, ya banyak diskursus terjadi sebagai konstruksi ajang X-Factor dan idol yg diikuti dan dibangun oleh para netijen sendiri. Puas kan ? Seperti masturbasi ? kagum pada diri sendiri karena merasa sudah bisa mengaktualisasikan diri dalam ajang kompetisi perjempolan hantu-hantuan ?

Tapi intinya kembali pada dialog saya dengan Ki Gede Yudho Pandowo di atas ya. Persepsi itu subjektif dan banyak dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman, pembelajaran, serta terbentuk oleh berbagai mekanisme interaksi yang terjadi di habitat atau lingkungan hayati dan tentu saja sosial.

Manusia dan desanya, manusia dan alamnya, manusia dan komunitasnya, semua akan saling mempengaruhi. Otak tumbuh secara plastis dalam mengkristalisasi fungsi dan standar operasionalnya karena “dicetak” oleh kondisi lingkungan yang menjadi platform belajarnya, selain dari kapasitas biologisnya. Dimana kapasitas dan kompetensi biologisnya juga sebenarnya fak terlepas dari faktor herediter alami yang dipengaruhi oleh alam dimana ancestor kita semua beraktivitas, menjalani hidup di sepanjang usia yang telah dikaruniakan.

Intinya membuka ruang yang memperluas sudut pandang akan membuat kita dapat menganalisa berbagai kondisi dengan lebih tenang. Kita dapat nikmat berenang dan menyelami berbagai makna di balik tanda yang muncul di berbagai fenomena. Mungkin karena sebab itulah musabab kita selalu berpikir dan bahkan karena berpikir itulah kita “ada” menjadi niscaya sebagai alasan keberadaan. Cogito ergo Sum kata Kang Descartes mah. Maka keberadaan kita di alam apa saja pada gilirannya akan menghasilkan pola yang sebenarnya akan dapat diduga, entah di metaversa ataupun di RT sudut kota, manusia akan selalu hadir dalam bentuk pikir, baik diwakili avatar berupa raga ataupun avatar yang berupa data binari saja. ??
